Wahoo’s is a fast food restaurant that serves a combination of Baja Coast and Brazilian foods. The following was emailed from Wahoo's Fish Taco in April 2011:

Food Allergens
The items have been prepared without meat, dairy, soy, gluten, nuts, egg, shellfish, or peanuts but are processed in our locations which do contain such items and therefore may not be 100% free of such items.

Wahoo's Gluten-Free Guide to Ordering
To our knowledge, the following items are gluten free: (See note below regarding chicken)

Starters

  • French Fries*
  • Charboiled Chicken Nachos* (served with salsa and guac on the side)
  • Taquitos:* (served with salsa and guac) - Fish, Chicken, Carnitas
  • Chips*, Salsa & Guac

    *One fryer per location. Onion rings contain gluten. The fries, chips, taquitos are fried in the same oil as the onion rings.

Soups & Salads

  • Wahoo Salad: (served with fresh salsa, ranch, or roasted pepper cilantro dressing) - Charbroiled Fish, Charbroiled Chicken, Carnitas, Vegetarian (white rice, black bean filling)
  • Chopped Salad: (served with fresh salsa, ranch, or roasted pepper cilantro dressing) - Charbroiled Fish, Charbroiled Chicken, Carnitas, Vegetarian (white rice, black bean filling)
  • Chicken Tortilla Soup
  • Garden Salad (served with fresh salsa, ranch, or roasted pepper cilantro dressing)

Combo Platters (served with white rice and black beans)

  • Tacos - Charbroiled Fish, Charbroiled Chicken, Carnitas, Vegetarian (white rice, black bean filling)

Note regarding chicken: Our chicken "contains trace amounts of corn gluten.
