Pay attention to smoothie ingredients listed in store’s nutritional brochure. When smoothies listed say they have powder, protein blend, or special mix, ask the store attendant what that is. If he/she or you are unsure, do not have that particular smoothie. If you stick to smoothies with just fruits and fruit juices, you should be safe. Stay away from chocolate and vanilla protein powders. You should probably also avoid any smoothies with ice cream or yogurt due to their added fillers. Sometimes they even contain Wheat proteins and starches. Recently, our gluten-allergic part-time staff member discovered that the “herbal nutrient blend” in our smoothies is safe to have. Therefore, you should be able to safely consume the Immune Builder and The Cranberry Supreme Smoothies."
