Gluten-Free Restaurant Awareness Program of North America (GFRAP)

This program is sponsored by the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG). It is a well-organized program designed to have restaurants voluntarily participate in providing information for an easier gluten-free dining experience. As of March, 2008 there were 1287 restaurants participating.

SillyYaks (Celiacs)

You must first register with the Yahoo group called SillyYaks to be able to access the group’s free restaurant listings of over 120 restaurants. As of August 2004 it is in PDF format, which can be easily printed or downloaded onto a pocket PC. The restaurants are located nation-wide. The site is maintained by Melanie Katz, and also includes active interactive postings by members, a recipe file, and much more.

This site (established 6/05) by Alice allows anyone to add celiac-friendly restaurants to the list. It is free and all info on it can be freely distributed. Restaurants are organized by U.S. state groups. Addtionally, it provides website links to other sites that give information about local GF dining both in the U.S. and well as other countries.
