Pei Wei describes itself as "a casual, new, Asian-style restaurant by P.F. Changs China Bistro". It is a fast food style of restaurant. Each restaurant has a gluten free menu at the register area that you must ask for.
There is also their gluten-free menu on their website at http://www.peiwei.com/#/menu/
. You must have "Flash" to open it, but it does provide a way to add Flash to your browser if you don't have it. When on their menu page, there is a Gluten-free Menu link at the bottom of the page for a PDF of the menu.

"We had a very good experience with PeiWei restaurant located in Leucadia/Encinitas today. We placed our order online and there was a link for gluten-free which we clicked on and it gave us approximatelly 10 selections. We tried the Vietnamese Chicken Salad Rolls, Pei Wei Spicy Shrimp Salad and Pei Wei Spicy Shrimp. The total came to $26 and was enough for three people. However they were having an online special that if it is your first time to order online, you get 25% off bringing our total to $19.98 including tax.
I picked up our order to go and the waiter read back "Gluten-free Vietnamese Chicken Salad Rolls, Gluten-free Pei Wei Spicy Shrimp Salad and Gluten-free Pei Wei Spicy Shrimp." They also gave us a frequent card that after 10 meals, you get one meal free and put our 3 meal purchase that day on the card. Our food was ready and packed very professionally. They were very friendly and thanked us for our business.
The food tasted great! I sampled each and found the ingredients to all be quality and fresh (not fresh-frozen). I would definitely eat any of these again and feel comfortable recommending to others. Oh, the best news is - I didn't get sick!" Mel

"I had very good service at Pei Wei (in the Grand Plaza in San Marcos) with their gluten free menu. I ordered their chicken garden rolls wrapped in rice paper with GF soy sauce, and also, Sweet & sour chicken w/steamed rice, (look out for the spicy little red pepper pieces). Both were very good." "We ate at Pei Wei's in San Diego, California this weekend. I had printed out my list ready to give them instructions. When I showed the paper to the cashier, he said, "Oh, you mean you want it gluten-free?" I said yes and he pushed a button. He said when he pushes the gluten-free button, they know how to make the dish and they make it in a clean wok. We had the spring rolls without the sauce, the sweet & sour chicken and the Pei Wei Spicy (scallops). When they brought each dish to the table, they said "gluten-free" this and that. Everything was
excellent and no accidents. I do believe you should always be cautious and reiterate how it should be made. It's a big thumbs up from our family. Most of my boys friends love Panda Express, and my younger one could never eat there. This is an excellent option and the food tasted much healthier." Sidona, San Diego
