Mama Houli & Sister T is "A Healthy & Unique Family Bakery" located in Encinitas. It is co-owned by Penny E. Houlahan and Teresa M. Correa. Their products can be purchased online or at various events in the San Diego area (including two weekly Farmer's Markets in San Diego. Gluten-Free Pumpkin Spice Breads
Our Pumpkin Spice bread is the results of a Halloween pumpkin patch long forgotten, one taste will tell you the use of fresh pumpkin blended with spices is what makes our family recipe so unique.
Gluten-Free Lemon Ginger Breads
This delightful bread has a powerful lemon flavor with pieces of crystallized ginger throughout. The bread itself is moist and solid yet light in weight.
Gluten-Free Cran Nut Breads
The perfect blend of sweet orange and tangy cranraisins with crunchy roasted walnuts give this Cran Nut Bread a distinctive flavor that you can enjoy all year long.
A local San Diego vendor, Mama Houli & Sister T only use the freshest ingredients; the pumpkins used in our bread are locally grown in Ramona, CA
What Makes Us Different: Our 2 oz serving makes a great snack or the perfect finish to a meal! Our breads are moist and delicious even when they come straight from the freezer. Pack one or two in a school lunch or take them on the go. Our packaging is green friendly.
Available Sizes: Our 2 oz, 8 oz, and 13oz servings are available on the web site or by contacting us directly. We also offer a 16 oz serving by special request.
Gluten Free Breads: Have a gold label for easy identification. We use a combination of wheat-free flours to create these moist and flavorful breads.
Shelve Life: We recommend that you store our Gluten Free Breads in the freezer to maintain their freshness. From the freezer allow the bread to stand for 3 to 5 minutes, slice and eat. The bread will be cold, but the flavor and texture will be as if it was just baked.
