Reminder: You must take the responsibility of being vigilant by always reconfirming the GF status of a menu item and addressing cross-contamination issues each and every time.

Legoland California has information on their website for which foods are gluten free in the park: Special Dietary Concerns. Their general food policy is no food or drink may be brought into the park except bottled water and baby formula - but last check no searches are conducted. They have "allergy friendly" menus at some of the restaurants.

"We took our kids to Legoland for the first time today. We had a blast! And we had a wonderful experience foodwise there too. We had lunch at the Garden Cafe (I think that's the name of it) in Mini Town. I asked the cashier if they had any gluten free options and he immediately brought out their allergy friendly menu and pointed out which specific items I could order from the cafe. I ordered a Turkey sandwich and ordered my daughter a turkey sandwich kids meal. Gluten free of course. They even offered me a discount off our meals because we weren't getting the bread. I think it was $2 off each GF "sandwich". And the cashier and the manager were very pleasant and asked me further questions about my order to make sure there was no cross contamination (i.e. they made both our meals on the spot instead of just grabbing an already made sandwich and taking the bread off).

Hats off to Legoland for taking such good care of us and making it easy for us to enjoy a meal at their park. We bought a 3 month pass and can't wait to go back again. We are even thinking of upgrading to the annual pass because of the good service and because our kids had so much fun there."

"I was pleasantly surprised to find GF hamburger buns at the food stand at Legoland (in Funtown)! They were very accomodating about changing gloves and using a clean grill for my meat! (Also, homeschoolers get in for $21 on select Mondays, but you have to register for this.)"

"I just wanted to give many kudos to Legoland California for happily providing gluten-free food! I was there yesterday for my son's birthday and was soooo happy to not only see gluten-free pre-packaged foods offered, but also at every burger and hot-dog place, they had a sign saying "gluten-free bun provided upon request". I thought that was so awesome and just had to share!!!"
