Healthy Creations calls itself "The Organic Gluten Free Mecca of San Diego; We provide the most delicious and best sourced take-n-make meals, in-house deli, and baked goods." It
is a great resource for those eating gluten free. When there you will find:
- Many choices of GF salads, wraps, and sandwiches to eat there or take-out (click on "Healthy Bakery")
- Specially chosen GF grocery items for purchase - including frozen items
- Prepared meals to cook at home, which changes monthly (click on "Menu")
- Fresh GF pastry items, including cookies, brownies and cupcakes
Almost everything made and sold there is gluten-free.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (before 6 pm most days). Closed Sundays.

"They have recently undergone a complete remodel. Now, the pre-prepared meals are assembled off site, and the entire restaurant is devoted to a café, shelf-stable and refrigerated/frozen food to buy, comfy places to sit and even free Internet access. This is one of the “go to” places for the gluten free in San Diego! By the way, I’m a long time customer – not an owner or employee!"
